Church and rectory circa 1880 to 1890's. The white posts were most likely for tying up horses.
Early Map of the Dubugue Trail. The trail came north into Owatonna, Minnesota from Iowa and turned northwesterly toward St. Peter. Marysburg was a stage stop along the way.
